the last gen mr2 , is putting out the most power , sport compact car haas a write up on bolt ons they performed , w/ dynoed results , youll want the mr2 tranny also , considering the all-trac is useless in the states.

um...isn't the 3sgte for the caldina the one with the most hp? only thinkg about those is they are hard to find as well as parts will be impossible to come across. just get a gt4 clip from japan. i think that would be your best bet. if you have a gt you can use your stock tranny but in order to get the most out of your engine you are goiing to want to convert a mr2 turbo tranny with hybrid axles so you can get more power to the rd.
but like it was said. the search function is wonderful.
welcome to the site!

3rd gen 3SGTE from a JDM Celica GT-Four is probably the best way to go since its a simple swap and the half cuts are getting pretty cheap. and there are plenty of mods for it to keep you busy for a long time.
