I have my airbox out and I didn't have to lift the car @ all. After taking the air box out from under the fender I didn't even notice a sound or performance difference (with a drop in K&N filter), which is why I am changing from my stock intake.

I just put mine on today as a SRI. But then I found that my radiatorr was leaking/smoking and not smelling so good. so now I have to get that taking care. Also, is the metal pipe supposed to get really really hot??
