i need to get some advice on drilled + slotted rotors.
from what i've read on here before it seems like slotted is good. but cross-drilled is bad (leads to cracking allot) i've been warping rotors allot. so i think i should try to upgrade to better ones. my mechanic says he found some that are cross-drilled and slotted, and have a lifetime warranty. i think they cost something like a 120usd per rotor. lifetime warranty alone sounds worth the money. is there any chance that the cross-drilling isn't going to lead to the rotors cracking? also, do performance brake rotors wear your brake pads down quicker? thanks in advance ny |
