ok I was drivin around one night this week...and I just noticed that my gears don't light up.....i can't really see what I'm changin to!.....

Any ideas on whats gonna on????

they are supposed to light up when the lights are on.

sounds like a bulb

do you a/c controls come on?

if they do then it must be a bulb not a fuse. they are all connected.

This is kind of obvious, but have you tried turning up the dash light dimmer knob?
I know that if its turned right down the shift lights will be off.

Just a thought.

To the left of the steering wheel on the same plastic panel that your ignition is on. It has a lightbulb picture on it and you turn it and your interior lights will get dimmer and brighter depending on the way you turn it.

I had the same problem on mine. the bulb is going bad inside the shifter. It is easy to fix. PM me if you want me to talk you through it.
