i wanted to see if it would be possible to cut off the two prongs and put them on in a vertical fashion so you could mount the emblem on the front bumper

you could probably cut them off and then tack-weld them where you want them. but if you try this, keep in mind that they are probably aluminum so don't use a welder that's set-up for steel.
better yet, cut the prongs off and then use double stick tape on the front bumper. lol This post has been edited by 6strngs: Jul 21, 2007 - 1:31 PM -------------------- ![]() 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |

thats what i did with my cursive emblem on my dash, i cut the prongs off with a mini-hack saw, sanded it smooth then double sided taped it to the dash and it looks and sticks really good.

The dragon emblem is too small, in my opinion, to replace the toyota emblem. Thats why I put mine on my grill instead. Its your call, but its a fairly small emblem, more of an accent piece for my car.

you can use another Dragon emblem, like i did on my SSIII, and mount it on the front bumper, all you would need is to drill 2 small holes horisontaly, and emblem will cover the existing holes nicely. Heres a pic of the emblem mounted:
