So when all this happened, and the windshield and body of the car came lunging at you...where di you go? You must be a skinny guy like me and could squeeze between there. How'd you lose control BTW? Was it just on a turn or something?

This makes me regret doing what I did going up to my cabin. Hwy 10 in Minnesota is pretty damned clear of police, but busy at the same time. I had the cruise set to 120 weaving and stuff. wow, now that I see what happened to you at 80, man that makes me feel really stupid. In a way, all of these accidents may have actually helped me learn something. I kinda learned that I need to cettle down or I will end up doing that, and might not be as fortunate as all of you. I feel really bad for you man, but I gotta thank you for the pictures, it really helped bring me to reality. I'm glad you're OK, and I hope everyone can be so fortunate if this ever happens to them. Thanks again, truly. You and the others that ahve posted pictures have just saved the life of this 6GC member.

Yea, I am 6ft. 155, so I was able to avoid a lot of injury. It also helped that my windows were down and I was somewhat back in my seat. It was a turn that I could normally clear pretty easily, I hit some gravel and turned a bit to be more in my lane and thats when it started losing traction.

And i'm glad that you could learn from my mistake, just going fast for any reason is just not worth the consequences, even if it is only down one road, and only at certain times very rarely...which happened here.

As for a new car...I don't know..when I get over this i'll probably start getting people's opinions on something else.

Wow, that wreck looks horrible! I'm so glad to see you're still alive after seeing those pics!

Like Jontechie said, we've all taken our Celis a lot faster than we should've at some point or another. You just happened to get unlucky and hit some gravel. frown.gif

But anyway, it's good to see that you're fine, and good luck with everything!
