would it be easier to swap a 3s-gte motor into our celica (the motor deals were in comes with tranny, harness, and ecu etc...), or getting a front clip and swapping everything from the clip to our celica to make it work? what else is necessary to complete the engine swap work? like vacuum lines modifications, etc.... anything anybody can think of. discussion is appreciated.

with the clip, you would virtually be missing nothing. Would just need to get the wiring harness sent out. Make your life alot easier and just buy a clip.
