- To take off your lower trim piece you are going to grab down by the bottom (where the trim comes almost to the ash tray) and pull up. The lower part will come loose and then you just need to gently pull it outwards where the two trim pieces come together.

- To get the large top part out you are going to need a phillips screwdriver (the one that looks like a t... just so there is no confusion) and remove two screws at the bottom (these screws will now be visible where you pulled the lower part out at)
- You pull out those screws and next just grab the bottom of the trim piece and lift up and out.. again, gently and slowly so you do not break anything.
- Your hazard button, clock, and center vents will come out with it.
- Disconnect your clock and hazard button and the trim piece comes free.
- To get the hazard button, clock, and vents off the trim piece I used a small(er) flathead screwdriver and kind of rocked them out of their holders.

- Once it is out wetsand the pieces with 400 grit sandpaper ( I can't remember what brand I had, but there was an alligator on the back of the paper) for a little bit, then shoot it with some plastic primer. You may want to put two coats on and give each coat plenty of time to dry.. that cannot be stressed enough.
- Then take your color (find a nice Duplicolor spray paint) and spray on a light layer.
- Let it dry.
- Repeat.
- Let it dry.
- Repeat.
- Once your 3rd coat is on and you are happy with the color lay down 4-6 layers of clear coat. If you want more color, lay more on. Once that has dried completely take some 2000 grit wetsand and go over the surface lightly. Now take some wax to it and buff it to a nice shine.. All done!

i think i took apart most of my interior parts ( seats , center console , glove box , all trim peices ) apart before , with very little research , you sort of have to figure it as you go , look for bolts / screws/ clips , pull on stuff , you will get by
