hey guys i need some fast help and hopfuly some pics cause im trying to hang my motor in mid air with a charry picker and i cant seem to find where my chanes latch on to the motor so i can take out my motor mounts i cant do it one by one cause im taking them to some place to have them fixed all at once and i would use a jack to hold it up but i got a small jack at the moment and it will not hold my motor up so if anyone could help me with some pic to find when i latch on the chanes that would be great thanks for the help

come on guys anyone that even thinks they know will be fine i know where one chane gos but i think im missing the other one on the other side of the motor but im not sure its like who even had this car before removed it or something for what ever reason let me know guys

There Should be a hook in front of you when u open your engine bay and sits on top of the alternator. If its not there you can use 2 grade 5 and up Bolts in place OF IT and tie one of your chains there supporting it kinda like a loop with the 2 bolts so that it doesn't tear off when ur lifting.


The other place would be somewhere close to your intake manifold or on the right side of the HEAD close to the DIZZY cap.

I just used Bolts when the Engine didn't have Hooks but make sure its safe and sturdy b4 u lift it. SRY no PICS

thanks for the help yeah i was missing the hook by the intake so i used a bold to put it in place and it worked man did think i was going to be such a pain to get all the motor mounts out but i got them hope its easyer to put them back in ...... thanks for the help
