Does anyone know what engine is standerd in a 95 celica GT? if there more than one...... the best one ...... i am looking to swap engines and i dont want to spend too too much......

The engine in the GT is the 5S-FE and it depends what you mean by costing too much....

The best engine you can swap into your Celica would be a 3S-GTE. You can find more information on the sticky threads at the top of this forum, or just do a search.

The engine in the US version GT is the 5S-FE....
What about giving some of us European 6th gens some recognition? Our GTs have the 3S-GE
