2nd gen vs 3rd gen flywheel...... i assume they are the same right?, i jsut decided to change the title since the question was diffrent.... Options

Im pretty sure the answer is yes but i figured id ask anyway....

..... the 2nd gen 3sgte flywheel is the same as the 3rd gen 3sgte flywheel right??? weight and everything else???

I need a new flywheel and thus have given light weight ones a thought. First off how heavy are the stock ones? and how light is to light? I mostly do aggressive street driving as well as a little bit of canyon running.

Also what companies are out there for us and which kind of metal should i be looking for?
