Hey guys, I lost my O/D button .... Anyone know where I can get a replacement one or something similar that works. I pulled up almost everything in the car and could not find that little black button anywhere! I know Toyota will probably charge me $20.00 for it if they even have it. Any ideas?? Thanks guys!

If I can't find a button I might just change out the shifter for an aftermarket one and put in a switch somewhere else? I've read all the posts on here about it, but there aren't many pics? Anyone done it?

just read this and then was over in engine/transmission/maintenance and saw this thread
http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=36865

didn't read the whole thread but the title suggests he done his auto -> manual swap
so he probably has the part you need, and has no more use for it.

you can just pull out the shifter, find the wires that went to the o/d button and wire them up to an aftermarket switch. I dont think you will be able to find the oem replacement on any old website, your gonna have to go to the stealership for that.

lol, stealership...I like it. Ya they sold my sister the rubber breather/intake tube for her 95 gt for $90 dollars and the little flimsy plastic piece that goes directly around the shifter for $40.00
I need to just find a junkyard and get all those parts for whenever mine wears out that bad.

Thanks zimlurra I'll check it out. If I can't get a swich I'll probably definetely go aftermarket...I was thinking this in red or black...
