that happnd to me in my mk3..cept i didnt hit a ditch n it was drivable afterwards. but the next week i got hit straight on in my driver fender..hope you're okay tho! like rocketscott said, don't let the insurance jipp you out of what is owed to you..

it always makes me feel like crying to see one of these go..
that same thing almost happened to me a few weeks back lady in a BRAND NEW nissan altima (still w/ the dealer plates on it) tryed to merge into me, i swerved over THREE LANES of traffic to barely miss her. she just kept coming at me. we were going about 40. it would've hit right on the drivers door  i could have probably got a lot from that w/ the right wording...she just looked at me like it was my fault i kept honking at her for like 30 seconds
