Hey guys,
I just got my wiring back from Dr. Tweak. I am trying to swap a ST185 3sgte into my OBD2 1997 Celica GT. There are several plugs that I don't where they go. The last mechanic I took my car to put the engine in and never got it running. Messed everything up, so now I have to fix it. Please take a look at these pictures and tell me if you see something wrong and also let me know what these plugs are and where they should go. In the meantime, I will do research and look through old posts to figure it out myself, but if you happen to just know, please post and save me some time. Thank you very much in advance for your help!!

I think #8 (The green plug) is a starter relay from an MR2. I am not sure if that is the right plug to use or not, but I think my last mechanic put that there. I really don't know what he did to the car because he simply didn't ever give me straight answers. His name was MR2GURU from the mr2oc forums if anybody wants to know.

sounds right to me. The noise surpressor needs to be grounded. I just mounted mine on the back side of the intake manifold.

make sure you wrap that harness back up before you start connecting everything.

Oh okay, should the car be able to start after I plug everything up? Or is there a next step?

Assuming Dr Tweak did the wiring right and the previous mechanic didn't molest the stock wiring it should fire right up. Is the intake tract complete and sealed? Is the Injector resistor pack wired in?

there should be a bracket coming off the noise supressor. It may not be or need a ground.

If it has two wires going to it, it does not need to be grounded (one of the wires is already ground). It should be in the harness near where the ignition coil is located. On my ST205 harness/motor, there is a spot to clip it on the ignitor/coil bracket (that ignitor/coil bracket DOES need to be grounded).
