you mixed around the 12v constant and the car ignition wires. Just flip around those 2 wires with each other.

QUOTE(CaliJeff @ Aug 18, 2007 - 5:56 AM) you mixed around the 12v constant and the car ignition wires. Just flip around those 2 wires with each other. Or you have blown the constant 12v fuse that supplies the audio and clock. -------------------- Davey

This same thing happened to me not too long ago. Weird thing though, that after I replaced my distributor (for other reasons not regarding stereo or clock), I had to change some of the wiring around cause someone before me has things done really weird.
But anyways what they said. You either have a blown fuse, or wires crossed, or both. I just wired mine so I can turn the sterro on even with a key in the ignition. That way if I go into a store, and I got a friend who doesn't wanna go in, they have have the tunes without me worrying about them taking off in my car lol. -------------------- - Be careful when playing leapfrog with a Unicorn -

I checked up on the wires and here's what happened. The ignition and battery wires were bridged together. When the wires were together the player could turn on. But when I seperated both of those wires and tried to turn on the player it didn't turn on.
