QUOTE(lipweb @ Aug 24, 2007 - 2:43 PM) Truth is. I've been researching this for quite some time. Most of the parts will have to be custom. The problem is getting the right cams I need. If I can't get those then it's pretty much a no go anyway. That's really the last item on the list. Hopefully some one here has an idea about where I can find them. I did find a set in a japanese site 2 months ago, but when I look further into it. They proved to be junk! QUOTE(jgreening @ Aug 24, 2007 - 9:35 AM) You are asking questions regarding largely uncharted waters. I know of no cams or other parts that are available for the 5sfe. If you want to stay N/A, I recommend the vvti 1mzfe. It will be cheaper in the long run and will have stock reliability. It will end up at about 215hp but with a much better powerband. I didn't see anything in there about the 5sfe. Can you point me to the part of the website you are talking about? -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |

If you want to spend 5 grand on a NA motor there is a Beams 3SGE on ebay. It is a complete swap. Just because it doesn't get done doesn't mean you should do it. Usually it means that others have tried and decided it wasn't worth it.
