went all out with the fiberglassing and im molding those 2 together. this is slightly after a smoothing stage to get everything smoothed out and get ready for sanding+paint! Quick little bump for Aaron...
I went to the local junkyard and scored a 4AFE oil pan from a later corolla for a -10 an fitting... complete with rod fragments and other sharp little metal shavings.  I brought it home and drowned it in a whole lot of gunk. There were a lot of surface scratches and the pan looked real ugly, so I gathered up various grit sandpaper and started cleaning it up and prepping for some paint (which will come after the oil return line fitting is installed), but I kind of liked it the way it is... provided I have more than an hour with it again. Hand sanding ftw  edit - Aaron, when you get the package (Thursday) make sure you don't throw out my shop towel... I'll be coming for it!

that oil pan looks like it would be way easier to find a good spot to tap into than the 7afe 2piece pan.
