7A tranny..maybe problem??, odd noise in 1st. Options

Since we got the coupe, ive noticed somethin kinda strange. For some reason, only in 1st gear..the tranny sounds like it has straight cut gears. Like you start to move and as you accelerate, it makes the same kinda sound as a set of straight cut gears like in say a rally car. But then second gear is quiet as can be. Also, in first gear if you bring the rpms up to around...4500, and step on the clutch, there is a strange but very faint sound that kinda sounds like a Blitz BOV..lol. Like..i donno how better to discribe what this sounds like, than one of the blitz bovs. The car runs fine, rides great, no issues other than this strange sound that only happens in first. Any ideas?? When we bought the car, the guys who we bought it off said that they had a new tranny and a new clutch put in about 3 months ago.
