I have no idea what to call it, but you know when you play music lights from whatever start going in the pattern of the music? Sorta like what DJs use at partys n stuff when playn their stuff.

My question is, is there anyway to make these things? It would be cool if u make a speaker enclosure (or sub box) that pulsates when the bass goes. Any of you who study electrical engineering maybe can help me out?? Thanks guys

x

yep, np ^^ now if you are fancy and electically savvy, you would take those lights off, and hooke em up to an underkit and make the lights blink with the music, but you also have to make modifications to the unit since you will be needing more power

I believe the correct term is modulation. I.e. you want the lights to be modulated by the music. wink.gif

haha modulation is the correct term but the word used is "chase" hes looking for a 12v chase controller that is sound activated... chase controllers are used for DJ equipment to turn lights on and off either together or in a specific pattern to create amazing light shows smile.gif

I know some neon lights have a little adjustment for blinking to the music. Basically you set them to a certain sensitivity and the bass from your subs striggers them to pulse. Thats how mine worked when i ran neons like 5 years ago.

There is also a way to cheaply do this... if you hook up an L.E.D bar to you audio amp to the speaker hookup, the light will get power the same time you subs get power.
