So i FINALY just got my neo installed, and i was just kinda messin around a bit and my cars running stupid rich. I was wondering if some one out there has a basic fuel map for a 5s that will get her running right. Right now it bogs around 2000rpm, and its pretty much spittin raw fuel out the tail pipe. Im new to the whole fuel mapping thing and my buddy who was suppost to tune mine went to florida for 3 weeks yesterday and didnt tell me he was leaving. Any ways, if some one can gimme some settings like the diff rpms and scales that would be awsome.
*hint hint dustin* thanks Bryan |

then you should disconnect the neo and save for a wideband, unless you take the car to a dino, there is no accurate way to tune the car just by smelling the gases coming from the pipe.

im pickin one up when im in toronto on the weekend. The weird thing is, when i first started it up, it was running like a bag of sh!t, so i went and checked to make sure the sensors were working, check..every thing was fine. Clicked the initialize button by accident, every thing went back to stock, and now the car runs perfectly. My buddy is coming over tomorrow to help out.

i was just looking at presure2s stock dyno .. the 5s runs lean and mean from the factory. the only real gains you might see is by leaning out a bit from 4700-6000 rpm.

But like i said b4, when i first started it up..it ran like ass..and then now its running fine. Also im planning on buyin me a new o2 and a wideband o2 on the weekend. |

im gonna fix up some of my wiring tonight. When i installed the neo, i ddint have any bullet connectors or spade connectors, and the ones in the kit suck. So i just did a straight butt connector running to the air pressure wire. If i connect up spade termianls and loop the wire back up the way it should be, can i still keep the neo installed being able to use it as a tach, voltage gauge and tps monitor??...aka just keep every thing wired up as is untill i get my new o2's and get some time to properly tune it??

But you say keep it connected...connected with no air flow signal coming into the AFC? or fully connnected?? |

if the neo and the safc2 work the same, it should be fine with stock settings and initial setup completed. you will just get the same old boring performance with a fancy light show is all.

But We only have 2 cars for the house that i can drive..and sarah needs her alot this week...so i need to figure out how i can run my car without fully disconnecting it. So all im asking..nothing to do with tuning, just to get my car drivable again...if i loop the air pressure wires back like it was stock, can i still have the NEO running and still have it useable as a tach, voltage gauge, etc??...or would i have to disconnect the harness at the plug?? I know i need a new o2, i know it needs to be tuned a bit, but i need to be able to drive it ASAP. |

i just looked through all of the info i have on my car that i got from the original owner, and its still runnin on the same o2 sensor since it was factory. like..same o2 for almost 200000km and 13 years. I ordered up a new o2 today but its not gonna b in till tomorrow. And i tripple checked my wiring before i even started the car, every thing is done perfectly, and i did the setup properly too. But what Art was saying about how if it bogs or runs stupid rich its probably the o2, makes sence. Even when i was installin my a/f gauge b4, i checked my o2 and it was pretty bad, but not terrible, but that was also like 4 or 5 months ago.
EDIT: its also kinda strange cuz out of the like...7 times ive started up my car since i installed the neo, maybe 4 of them it runs like ****, and then 3 it runs fine. But like...the 4 times it ran like ass the car was warm, but when the car is cool or cold, it runs as good as it did b4 i installed the neo. Hense another reason why i think its the o2. So, i got me a new o2 today, installed it...found out why my old one was bad. The flange on the old one was cracked, and apparently i didnt have a gasket between the o2 and the header. So i replaced the o2, also found out some of my header wrap was de-composed, so i replaced that. Any ways, i got my new o2 in and the car runs perfectly. So thanks to Art's suggestion...i got the car running fine again.
