I wired up four high cathode aka almost the same as neons to my car. They all run up to two switches near my dimmer light and then to my battery. The front two work great but the back two won't light up fully. I dont know if its the wires or if its because only one power line was ran or something. I need help so instead of three to three and a half neons i have four. Does anyone know what the problem is: wiring or am i not getting enought power.

you say they all run up to two switches? well, is there two dim lights on one switch, or one dim light per switch? if it's one dim light on each switch then I'd recommend you run a power and ground to each light seperately.
or if they are in series then wire them in parallel or the other way around. here's a little picture I just drew of a series and a parallel circuit. if you are doing it one of these ways then you could try the other way and see if it works better. ![]() also, it could be a loose or poor connection. or, if you only have one gound for all 4 lights then maybe try grounding each light seperately or at least one set of two (one switch) per ground. -------------------- ![]() 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |
