The auction says it comes with two "rebuilder front struts", what do they mean by that? It says the rear ones are complete though.

EDIT: I think these are also called inserts. What is the difference between these and a complete strut?

yes they are inserts, if you have non-sealed or non-sports suspension then you can use those. complete strut has the insert inside sealed already.

it means you rebuild you stock strut with a new insert. Nothing more.

You can go to the dealer and have them run your vin number. As them if your car came with the sport suspension.

or you can lift the boot and see if there is a huge bolt in the shock

the one on the left is a sealed KYB, the one on the right is rebuildable. more hassle, i replaced all....

Yeah or that, but if the struts are still on the car you can't just lift the boots, you'd have to take the struts out.
