I have gold rims with a polished lip on my Black Celica & i think they are the best mod ever & wern't silly expensive either biggrin.gif

I know this post is coming back from the dead....the time has come too get the rims....you think I should get 17's or 18's...Im leaning towards the 18's only because they are wider.

7J rims are to narrow indeed. I have 18X7,5J with 225 tyres around them and thats already the max width of tyre. A 225/235 around a 8J tyre would be perfect on any 6GC.

So yeah I would go for the 18" if thats the only option to get the 7,5J tyre.

Width of rim in inches. But I live in Europe, we call it J size.

the 17's should be good, if your lookign for wide rims..the 17x9" +35 offset rims do fit the rears of our celica..but then you would be going with rwd offset...dont know if you are willing to do so or not
