idk if this is the right category to be posting in or not, sorry. but im planning on buying a 6th gen st later in the week and its a stick (yippie!) and right off the bat i want to put in a short shifter. Ive heard that a 7th gen short shifter will work but is it hard to install? easy to mess up? and this is what i have my eyes on:

they do make a huge difference. the throw is amazing when combined with a short shifter! but if you live in any place with alot of sunshine, an all metal shifter can get awfully warm!!

 short shifter install is a breeze. The hardest part for me was getting the shims lined up with the pre-existing bolt holes on the floor. but that link that was posted is great, all the info you need. good luck --------------------  The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed? |
