would removing the stock antenna and placing it on the inside of the rear panel behind the plastic. leaving it extended b/c mine doesnt go up or down without some elbow grease anyways. do you all think the reception would still be good? i just want to hide an antenna all together, but keep the radio available b/c i currently dont have an ipod...it was stolen.

well, yes it would work, you can take the cable and attach it to your body... but you should get a s2000 antenna, would look nicer...
