I'm installing a boost gauge in my car. I just need to know which wire to splice into for my light. I hear the dimmer switch is a good place for this. I'm looking at 3 wires coming from it....2 white wires, one with a red stripe, the other green stripe. The third wire is solid green. Any suggestions on which one to use? I'm guessing one of them is a ground that I could splice into also. Thanks for your help.

Not 100% sure what you mean by this? Are you talking about the green wire? Sorry if this is a stupid question and I should understand what your talking about smile.gif My wiring knowledge is very limtied. I'm a little overwhelmed by all the wiring going on behind the dash smile.gif

What does acc stand for? Can I use one of the other 2 choices?

Can someone just give me a suggestion on where to wire this gauge up to? I'm not sure which wires are what behind the dash. What classifies as an accessory? Thank you for all your help Celicam8. Sorry I just want to get this thing hooked up smile.gif.

splice into the green wire coming from your cig lighter. This will make it so that when you turn on your lights the boost gauge will light up.
