Bucher (sp?) state park in bastrop has campsites that is a cabin with 4 bunkbeds and a place for a tent for like 60 bucks a night but you have to have them reserved WAY in advance

And an actual date might be a problem because alot of people's spring break varies.

But if alot turn out to be different, we can find a middle weekend to do it.

I'm planning on bringing my wife and kids so we will probably stay in a cabin. Mid March is fine with me, but I cant say for sure until the actual date gets closer. I am starting a new job Jan 2 and I'm going to be working shift work ( 4 on, 4 off ) so hopefully it falls during my off days.

As for prices and facilites, check the link below. Bastrop offers just about anything you could need, they even got a golf course yep I'm bringing my clubs along with my fishing pole.

Oh and I never was a boy scout but I do watch Survivor Man and I cant wait to try eating me some nice toasted grasshoppers lol yea right!

Just to clarify, are we talking about a 3 2 nighter? Friday, Saturday, Sunday? or just Sat and Sunday.

I'm going to start trying to narrow down weekends so I can open up a poll or something and decide soon.

We could set one day for the actual meet preferably a Saturday, or Sunday and if anyone wants stay through or just come up for the day it would be up to them. Just remember that it will be during Spring Break and although it might not be as crowded as the beaches, it will still probably be pretty packed.

im actually down for friday night till sunday afternoon
but i need a date so i know for sure when to take off
eariler i take off the better chance of me getting it and making plans so lets decide!
and im taking golf next semester so ill bring my clubs and play!!! hahah and suck at the game also

The weekend of the 15th sounds good. And if you guys are bringing clubs then I'll have to bring my pings. I'm gonna talk to my ex and her roommate and see if they wanna go. (Her roommate has a 96 ST Hatch). So we need to decide on a weekend sometime soon and I say 15th sounds good.
