Pretty sure this is correct

Candian badging was diffarent on the 6th gens.

canada badged the gt a gt-s and the us st is a canadian gt

But when regarding us 5th and 7th gens the US badged them gt and gt-s.

I contacted toyota before I bought my celica and they told me that the GT-S comes with a sport package. Which is spoiler, sport bucket seats for the passenger, badges and other ****. The motor is the exact same.

While we're on the topic of "what's the difference", what's the difference between the ST and the STX?

I've seen 3 STX's around my area, and 2 other 6GC's besides my own ST. Any info for my uninformed arse would be much appreciated smile.gif

I've got an STX. From what I've found out, it's considered "dealer-level badging" or something like that. It's basically an ST with options. Mine has the moonroof, auto, spoiler, BBS rims, power everything, etc. I think they're all coupes, too. Mine also has hideous gold trim and pinstripes. It also has the little STX logo.

Hmm... My ST has the moonroof, spoiler, BBS Rims, power everything, Gold Toyota Logos, and is a coupe, buy mines a 5-speed. Maybe mine is an STX, but the guy just painted over it or something when he re-painted the car? I'll try asking one of the owners that have an STX when they come to my work next time, maybe they'll be able to help me out....

Thanks smile.gif
