i saw someone that did this mod a while ago but no matter how many times i searched i can't find the thread. anyone got a link or guide on how to do it?

And what I mean is to mod your headlights so all four low beam lights turn on instead of just two.

There are only 2 low beam headlights

the 2 center housings are high beams.....you DO NOT drive with these permanently on.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

easiest way is to turn the highs on. Only takes a flick.

Harder way is to get a relay, and hook them all together.

Then what Is the point of having high beams?
What If you drive outside town, where there are no street lights and there suddently comes a animal in the middle of the road, or a person?

i hardly ever used my high beams anyway. its actually nice having the extra light output all the time

i would rather have a mod where the foglights stay on when you hit the highbeams. six instead of four makes more sense to me. i use my fogs as ditch lights...fracking racoons are a problem on my route to work at 5 a.m. .

We do in Canada if our cars come with Daytime running lights. When ever i start up my car and throw it in gear my 2 inside headlights come on dimly *no were near as bright as low beams or highbeams* and stay on untill i flick my low beams fully on. I think hes more wondering if there is a way to put his daytimes on + the low beams.

that is the way to go if you wanna wire all four of your headlighst to come on with a relay....otehr than that you can drill a hole for a bubl to go in and wire that bulb to your signals...i did that a while ago....

well due to the space provided with the side marker (fender wells)

*u can opt to remove the wheels which will make it more easier to wire. on the pics, after i cut the side marker harness, i left the side marker wires alone and just used teh signal lights to wire. if you opt to use the stock side marker wires, all you have to do is jus extend teh wires in between enough to reach to the high beams, much longer but easy way to do it...*

i jus cut the original side marker harness and re-wired one end to the side marker 194 harness, made it long enough for the high beams to reach the signal lights. i think theres three wires (if i remember correctly), one black, one green/white, one solid green. if you want the bulb to go on when you turn on your parking lights, wire ground to black and wire green/white to the other wire on your bulb. if you want the parking lights blink liek your signal lights, wire ground to black and wire solid green to the other wire on your bulb harness. shouldnt take too long to do. it took me roughly 45 minutes to do.....

ps - REMEMBER TO USE A GOOD SEALANT AFTER THE BULB IS IN THE HOUSING

Just recently did this setup, i still have my low beams on the outside, but the high beams on the inside have a built in motor for the high beam to engage, other than that 4 lights that have a great light output. You just have to run an all new ballast, relays and wiring, and just in case the cops want to give me a hard time, my buddy ran a switch for me to disengage my high beams, to make it look like im running stock again. Check out customlightz.com, they can help you out.

why dont you just use a demel to take away some of the plastic on either the low beam bulb or the hi beam housing so that the a low beam bulb will fit properly into the hi beam housing.... then using resistors keep the correct wattage or what have you for the low beams coming from the high beam wiring...... OR just rewire in an extra pair of wires either from the low beams or with a relay off the low beams??????

clever,
you should really saulder/heat shrink all of that though. I used to live off crimp connectors but have long since learned..
