i have the US version PS3 and the jap disc version works fine. the download version is the same but only problem is it might take a while to download since it's a HUGE file.. and manphibian, ya know ya can't resist the temptation, BUY IT NOW!

I'll sell my disc version when it turns up.

so whats the procedure if you have a uk ps3?...do jap games work??

Yep, games from all regions work fine (i have a Hong Kong PS3)

Obviously it's all in Japanese, but no way i'm waiting till March when it comes out in UK!

I was seriously contemplating getting a copy from ebay, but if all options etc. are in japanese then im not that sure anymore...Is it not possible to change language into english?

no it really depends on your connection speed...i've done it at my house in about 20 minutes. i did it at my friend's house with dsl and it took 40 to an hour. i have the japanese version downloaded and its sweet

It's really not that much of a problem, a lot of the icons have English under them, but it's really straightforward to use, there's not a lot of reading you need to do.

I will probably have a copy for sale when it arrives if you want it

awesome. now we all just gotta figure the online play thing... and Aus, it's pretty straight forward...if ya played GT4, the menus are pretty similar so it shouldn't be a problem.

Apparently the Online mode is available for (free) download on Dec 25th from Jap PS3 store, along with some other stuff, so i'm off to get some practice in

do u have to download from ps3 store or maybe it'll just upload automatically from the disc if you're connected to the internet? cause from wat i read on gamespot.com it says that menus are different when you're online or offline. but anyway, for those of u when have the game, post your best times. for london track, and fujispeed way

Has anyone managed to win the last race in class B yet? 6 laps of Daytona in an Audi R8. Man that is hard. I keep tagging the slow cars, best i have done so far is 3rd


EDIT: Just got 2nd, 4.8 seconds back. Don't think i can go much faster.

Just about to start Class A, not sure what car to get next, maybe an M5. Although i guess i should get something quicker than my R8.

GT5 goes ONLINE!!!!!! it's sweet, takes alil while to update but it's all good. online racing is exciting, but figured my GTR ain't faster than Ferrari lol.. after updating, there's features like online and ranking. go update and lets race!

Haven't tried online yet, will try it tomorrow, is there an option to invite friends so we can get it on?

i dunno bout that since it's all in jap..... but i'm guessin that we could join together on the available races... and not like NFS where you can create your own room and invite people in to race.

R34, Evo X and WRX are all pretty even.
