Type 2 is more than sufficient for street needs and to keep your wallet a bit more happy.

Type 1 involves an additional helper spring to further tune your suspension setup, as well as upper mounts.

ok so i called tanabe up directly in Torrance CA and found out that they thought it was discontinued so thats what they told the retailers. Turns out it wasnt discontinued for our car instead some parts on the coilover system were/are being revised. I spoke to a James (ext. 105)

The revision should be done and coilovers ready to ship by january so some time 1st quarter of next year i should be able to get my hands on a set...

Have you considered the D2 ones? They're easier on the wallet and still very good smile.gif

Installed them on mine not too long ago... http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=53882

yeah..i considered d2's..also considered ksport's..but from what i've heared..d2/ksport aren't really good for performance, it's more of a thing for show..so i'd rather get something for its performance..function>form!
