Now i know 5th gen celica's rear disc assemblies will work for are 6gc's by reading one of coomer's thread. While junkyard hunting today i stumbled on this camry, the rear struts looks the same and so does the placement of the brake line and end links, so im thinking it will work on the 6gc. just looking if anyone has sum more info on this and some more opionions. also btw my cell phone camera takes pictures backwards, i know its weird

the bolt pattern has nothing to do with it. You would need the backing plate, caliper, torque plate, e brake stuff, ect...

FYI, these are the same as the st165 rears.

I just though he would need different rotors as they won't go on the Celica hub.

I was in the same situation before only it was the front of the camry, and there just happened to be a 6gc right next to it.

I took the whole brake assembly from the carmy's front and put it up against the 6gc's shock. the 2 bolts that attach the whole assembly to the shock were about a 1/4 spread further apart compared to the 6gc shock. so that didnt line up. also the bolt that attatches to the lower control arm stuck out about 1/2 in further than needed.

It seems like toyota ran the exact same style suspension but made the camry's components jus a BIT bigger than the celicas... it was really close but unusable in the front... i would bet the same for the back but i would double check anyway before purchasing. good luck.. let us know what you come up with. smile.gif
