hey guys im having a problem with rpm ideling,when i leave it in neutral the car wants to die untile i give it gas.when i give it full throle is take about 2 seconds for response(in gear). i just change my spark plugs,distibutor cap and rotor and fuel filter. if it helps.thanks in advance. smile.gif smile.gif

make sure you didn't split or accidently knock any of the vacuum hoses loose while doing all that matienance

well my check engine light came on.i got a scaned and it has my cylinders are misfiring 1 and 3.i didn't get to read teh rest of the codes.anyone know what i have to do to fix this misfiring?

Misfiring could be bad seals, bad wires, plugs, bad distributor cap and rotor, distributor itself. If its only 2/4 cylinders I would lean more towards seals or plugs and not distributor, but I've learned not to assume.

i agree. But i would say its more likly your plugs or wires are bad. I see you said you just replaced them, but you could have got bad plugs or wires. As for the seals, Are you leaking oil into the Plug wall

well i just changed my PCV valved and hose from the PCV to the manafold and i nothice theres some kinds dark sluge inside the hose and PCV.still runs with the problems.any idea?thanks for everyones input smile.gif smile.gif

If you're getting sludge in the pcv make sure you don't have any leaks in the vacuum line and do a seafoam flush.

i replaced my spark plug wires and unbolted the battery and the check engine light came back on.im gonna check the vacume lines.

random misfire, misfire 1, misfire 3.

get a cheap DVOM and hook it to the OX and E1 terminals in the test port, report what kind of voltage you're seeing.
