That they are. Go find a 5th gen that's being parted out.

"Hmm. Ask him if he's the dragon reborn."
"What?"
"Just do it."
".......He said yes."
"Tell him you are not darklings. He should open up."
".......Sweet. Thanks."
"No problem."

Hi matey, yep they're 5th Gen mirrors. Best bet is to put a wanted on here, sure someone will have some sitting around.

Had a quick scan on ebay, there only seem to be single ones at the moment, keep an eye out thumbsup.gif

EBAY LINK

They look superb, only things to remember is; they do NOT fold in, and as they're made for LHD the angles are a bit strange, but they're useable.
Also US mirrors seem freakishly 'zoomed in' compared to ours.

Good luck smile.gif

Great cheers bud, I'll have a look around and see what I can find, I'm sure there will be a set around here somewhere, just one last question...do they need any "tinkering" to get them to fit.???

Thanks all for the help. smile.gif

No problem fitting,

HERE'S a thread with the wiring details.

HERE'S another with some other info.

Basically, 2 of the holes line up perfectly, you just have to enlarge the 3rd hole to fix it, dead easy thumbsup.gif

Are the mirrors powered or not? is there any way to adjust them because I use the adjustability on mine quite alot to point down at the kirb when parking to make sure I dont hurt the alloy wheels

Yeah, they're powered, same as stock ones, from the switch inside. The angle of the drivers side mirror means that it faces towards the car a lot more than a RHD mirror, perfect for checking the kerb, but i added one of those stick on wide angle mirror things for better overtaking, you can probably take the glass out and reposition it, i have just never tried laugh.gif

they look like standard 5th gen mirrors over in the UK. Thouse "blade" looking ones are standard 5th gen power folding mirrors.

hold on i'll try look for that pic.

but instead of having the hold in the mirror with the 2 posts holding the actual mirror, the top post is cut off and it looks like an oversized fishing hook...........hold on i'll look.

yeah np. the last pic was to chose whether you like the double blade or single blade mirrors. IMO the single blade will look smooth if you have the gt4 spoiler........should flow nice.
