Is there any write ups in here on how to install the Air fuel ratio and voltmeter gauges? If none, can somebody who knows how provide a simple step by step instructions. It might not be that hard to install these but it would be a great help for newbies like me wink.gif .

thanks guys IPB Image

the voltmeter should be simple, all you really need to do is tap into a power supply with one wire and then ground the other wire. (check with the gauges to see which wire is which). you can use almost any power supply, like the cig lighter power lead or the power lead to the radio. make sure its grounded out well biggrin.gif

One would hope so considering the square and compass. If he's not, he's gonna have some unhappy ones talking to him.

"What?"
"Just do it."
".......He said yes."
"Tell him you are not darklings. He should open up."
".......Sweet. Thanks."
"No problem."

I'm not to familiar with the A/F gauge, did the gauges come with any instructions?

The funny part is I haven't opened up the box yet. Im still waiting for the pod from Speedhut, I'll check them and let you know. Now that you've said that, Im hoping there should be one.

i installed my a/f gauge the same time i installed my oil pressure gauge. i figure i tapped into the wrong wire on the o2 sensor, and i don't have a constant reading. it flashes the reading, then shuts off. not bad power, just bad signal. on my o2 sensor, there are 2 ground leads, a power lead, and a signal lead. tap into the wire on the backside of the harness, not the wires directly on the o2 sensor. autometer's website has manuals for each of their gauges. just find the gauge on their site, and on the page for that gauge, there should be a link for an instruction manual.

They were just Autometer... I was gonna go for Stewart Warner but the guy from JRP told me that they don't make good guages like before so they were like trying to get rid of all the Stewart Warner guages as fast as possible. Not exactly sure if that was true. I got the guages with black faces and silver linings. Defi is just too expensive.
