i own a toyota celica 93 wrc sx im wondering am i able to install a standerd turbo setup from the gt four version onto mine witch is front wheel drive ?

its possible, but the engines (and therefore head and manifolds) are different, custom manifold and ecu changes, fuel system upgrage, and a few odds and sods (such as oil feed and drail for the turbo) would get you moving.

better still get a 3sgte head, put on your 5s-fe block and have a torque monster 2.2 litre turbo (still need to get bigger fuel pump, ecu changes etc)

how deep are your pockets tongue.gif.

so what you're saying is if i put a gt4 turbo setup i need that engine ? ok so how about i buy my own turbo setup say turbo manifold , turbo , cooler im still going to need to upgrade the ecu n **** yeah ?

im just looking for some more power well ive got a air filter on ive got a 2 1/4 exhuast pipe all the way through .. so would headers be another source off good power? what else?

most people just do what we call a gt2 swap, so buy a st185 half cut and swap all the **** over, then you get decent brakes, intercooler, bonnet, ecu, engine etc etc, and you will have left over parts.

you a member of www.ozcelica.com man?

some headers will give you a bit more snort, you could get an aftermarket ecu, such as a microtech, wolf etc, this will give more power again and better fuel economy (tuner skill dependant)

best bet if your serious about more power, do a gt2 swap, or buy a gt4.
