i love how fast the mods close threads on street racing and what not but when you take the time to sit down and write to them about a transaction you had with another person on this site they do not respond. i am not trying to knck the mods on this site but i feel that i have just been disregarded and it is very fustrating. i lost 40$ through the user (kersoene) DONT NOT BUY FROM HIM!!! completely took my money and did not return it...i paypal'ed him 40$ for a dr side lowbeam headlight which he was supposed to get from his "next door neighbor who crashed there celi" and he told me that his internet had stoped working. now he already had the money, my address, and im sure antoher place where he could have used the internet if need be but after 2 months of waiting i got no response to many pm's and paypal said that he had cancelled his account and "skipped town" all this bull**** over 40$ ****in dollers? the only reason im upset is because money is very tight right now and i needed a headlight inorder to have my car inspected becase they wouldnt do it w/out one. so i was out of a car for a good week and a half when i finally bought one off of dustin(batman) A++++ seller i might add i had the headlight in 2 days. now mr. keresoene is telling me to request my money back from this 3rd party who i have no affiliation with at all and sayin that im f*cked and this and that. he instant messages me about 3 days ago saying that im ****ed and to request my money through this other person and when i told him i wanted the money through him he "blocked me" so now i have no way of contacting anyone, the mods will not respond, and i get f*cked, so one reason i am writting this is to inform everyone on this site to be very carefull who and what they buy off of privately....sorry for ranting on and on but i felt it needs to be brought to everyones attention....thanks.....joe

Yeah u guys r saying the Mods cant do anything, and thats true. But i mean they could have at least responded. Although they have no real obligation to help him get his money back, the Mods are here to help and answer questions. And honestly I dont like it when mods close a topic bcuz its "dumb" i mean who cares as long as it abides by all forum rules right? It just seems like some Mods have no objectivity.

I understand what you mean, but you have to understand mods are not paid at all to help this site. They also can not keep track of all the little transactions that happen on this site.
You should have went through pay pal and requested a refund.

mods close thread when they are dumb is to keep people form getting in arguments. It also gets in the way of the search function.

exactly what i was planning on doing..hahha..but he lives to far...caus he really pissed me off....and i completely understand the mods have a lot to do and the last thing they feel like dealing with is a stupid 40$ transaction....but to me it's important and it should be their goal to keep as many people on the forum happy as possiable...the least they could do is send him a pm saying that he should send me the money and/or his account will be whiped out or something of that sort...but there should be some action taken....no i didnt just pm the mods 5 minutes ago....this was about a week or so ago if i recall correctly...and i didnt post this to bash the mods at all...im just imforming everyone on here to just becarefull who you buy and sell off of.....but yes in a way i am a little upset that the mods havent done anyhting about it yet...or at least contacted me back saying that they understand and they will see what they can do....just something to make me feel a little better......and if he was closer i woulda already beat down his door....im not one to get ripped off.....and toanswer someone else's question about the paypal thing, i did contact paypal and i requested my money back but they could not take it out of his account because it had been cancled

I understand when they do it to avoid an argument. But we have all seen threads closed with no animosity in them, just maybe a noob asking a seemingly simple question. I mean the point of this site is to bring peole together, help them and exchange ideas. How can that happen if when some1 new or not as well versed in 6gcs asks a question and a Mod or some1 gives them a smart A$$ response, then closes the thread? And we have all seen threads that r "dumb" yet the Mod throws in one last smart A$$ remark then closes it. I think sometimes there Mod title goes to their head.

you guys think i just sit around here, with nothing better to do?
just cause i didnt respond to you does not mean im not doing anything, i have infact, PM'd him, (more than once i might add) with no response so far.
i had planned on PMing him again, but, since your eager for a reply, here is mine:

i pm'd him, multiple times, with no response. there is nothing further i can do from my end, to take it any further you will have to PM christian, and see what he can do.
thread closed.
