I am looking around and planning my to buy my 4age or 4agze and I was wondering if rebuild kits are worth it
1.6L 90/91 Corolla GTS 4AGE 16 valve DOHC Fuel Inj. $327.06 EKTO30LM Major Engine Kit: contains complete gasket set, set of pistons and rings, main bearings, rod bearings, thrust washers, timing belt, balance shaft bearings (if applicable), and a set of expansion plugs (does not contain camshaft, timing kit or oil pump). Pistons & Rings: Std., .020, .040. Bearings: Std., 10, 20, 30. $401.48 EKTO30LG Gold Engine Kit: (Major kit as above) with oil pump $228.89 EKTO30LR Re-Ring Kit: contains complete gasket set, main bearings, rod bearings, thrust washers (if applicable) and a ring set. Rings: Std., .020, .040. - I'm not exactly sure where I'd get these parts and at what cost... Also, will the 4age kit work on a 4agze, only difference is supercharger... I cant see that being a problem, but worth asking |
