Hi, i've recently noticed that when its wet outside, im running on the highway, the cel flash about ˝second at every 5minute.
I looked for the code and it said CODE 25 that is A/F lean malfunction. I have a 94 gts celica with swapped 3SGTE RC, carbon fiber hood(so engine bay is a little colder), 3" exhaust, recently rebuilt shortblock. Why this light come on only when its wet outside, is my air filter sucking water??, because this thing look very dry when i stop to check it. Thanks for your help!!! |

take a look at the O2 sensor wiring for any damage to the wires which could be causing problems when wet.

Replace the O2 sensor, clear the code, and see if it comes back.
It has nothing to do with water being sucked in or anything like that. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

Could it be injector wiring?
Or some wiring that has to do with fuel system? Because i know that if fuel system's failing, it's very dangerous to run the engine... |

Because i know that if fuel system's failing, it's very dangerous to run the engine... 25 - O2 Excessive Lean Air Fuel Ratio: Check o2 sensor and fuel system The BGB says to replace the O2 sensor first, and if that doesnt help, check the rest of the fuel system. If you get the CEL while you are just cruising at a steady rpm, then i would say its your o2. If you get it during a full throttle, then i would say the problem is elsewhere. A bad AFM could also cause this issue. If i were you, i would buy a wideband for the car. Its one of the best gauges you can buy for dianosing these types of issues. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
