Has anyone had any issues finding a oil pan for the 7AFE? Seemingly both napa and auto zone part numbers bring up the 4afe oil pan which they say also fit the 7afe. This not being the case does anyone have the dealer part number for the 7AFE oil pan or any other info that may help my search?

dealer or junkyard, napa and autozone are morons if they think a 4afe lower pan is the same.

Thank you!, I tried explaining this to them but they just stared at me like I was speaking gibberish. I'll try the junkyard before the dealer.

Wait - why wouldn't it be? The 3S-GE and 5S-FE pans are interchangeable. Not saying you are wrong but I know peple who want to swap or create Hybrid motors with their 7A and a 4A-G[z]E so it would be nice to know why it won't work for them in the future.

I can see why you might think it would fit but if you look at the bottom of the diagram it shows both oil pans and they are quite different. 7AFE is a two-piece set up and is smaller than the one-piece 4AFE. What I can’t figure out is why even online site claim it’s the same oil pan.
