2k at the most on a body kit...1500-2k on paint...6 k on a motor swap/ a built 3sgte thats puttin down some nice hp to the ground....it all depends on your preference thoguh...you might wana spend some money in the interior and stuff like that but thats what i would do if i could only spend it on a celica

I'd go for a nice build of 6k on a 3sgte. Spend max of 1500 on 96+ bumper and nice paint. Last 2k spend on some random interior stuff and leave what's left in the bank for repairs or swap hiccups. Not too much or flamboyant to the exterior though. Just keep her a sleeper cause they already look like they should be fast lol

i think i'd take the v6 route. maybe the newer 1mz/3mz with vvti. projectors. new paint. wider wheels. interior re-upholstered in leather. window tint. replace steering wheel with newer 3-spoke. basically make the car feel and run like new.

what he said...

10k into a celica... i think you should put the money aside, let it get some interest over the next year or so while you research what YOU would like your car to be like. see what others have done, and see what all things you would like and appreciate.

my vote goes for a more powerful engine. some clean good looking wheels. new paint. projectors to make it look like a new car instead of an older one. also dress up the interior so that when you drive it you feel happy.

unless you got money pouring out of your ears, 10K in a car is a bad move.

What Rayme said. I think if anyone were to ever spend 10 thousand on a car they should have the intent of building a show car. Now if its a daily driver I say bad move. I'd probably only put 5k into my car at one time. And that would go for the 3sgte swap.

I would put all the money into bringing over a RHD Celica Gt-Four. Why put all the money into a car that isn't the real deal when you can buy the real deal for less, and have a perfect car. wink.gif

if not a Gt-Four, I would build a replica or either buy an SS-III

Thats what people used to say about Civics as well. Now the only people that complain are people who cant make 10k in a year.
