how hard is it to replace your axles and rear strut mount bushings? im probably going to pick up a project celica car and that's what it needs...

Besides gettin the drivers side axle pulled from the tranny.. more time consuming than hard.
I would get new axle seals and replace those. Also be careful about which axles you get; many of the cheaper rebuilds will go pretty quickly. I'm sure others will tell you some good brands (I bought the cheapies.) The sway bar links can be a PITA as well if they need to come out when replacing the top mount. I replaced those at the same time so I'm not 100% positive if they need to be removed.. But get plenty of PB blaster and be prepared to replace those as well. -------------------- ![]() |

any body have pictures of the strut bushings? is it the cap that holds the 3 strut mounts?
