Holy Sh!t. He was found dead by housekeeper about 90mins ago in his Manhattan residency.

Yeah, I just saw it on CNN.com too... holy crap! OD? They just said NYFD responded to a cardiac arrest call at 2:27pm, they pronounced him at 3:30 something. Whatever the cause, it's really sad...

Wait - did they film The Dark Knight already or will this effect that?

i just found that out as well. sad that it happened. completely took me and everyone else by surprise. my guess is drugs as well. maybe they will dedicate dark knight to him.

No OD is accidental. If he chose to do the drugs, then it's his own damn fault he died. Sorry to see a good actor go, but he obviously didn't care about his life, nor his child if he did have one (like someone had mentioned).

That's kinda harsh but I have to agree, if it was an OD then he was being wreckless with his own life and his kid's future (yeah, he does have a kid). But isn't it still accidental if he didn't do it intentionally? (just kinda giving you a hard time... I know exactly what you're saying though) I just read that there were over-the-counter sleeping pills found in the vicinity of the bed. Maybe a drug interaction?
