Someone suggested I post this here. This is My 1994 Celica ST, with the complete engine and drivetrain from a 1993 JDM ST185 swapped into it. Its getting close to being done, Engine, drivetrain, and suspension work is done, working on the fuel system and wiring as I post this.

If people show interest, I will post a complete parts list, and pictures of the whole AWD swap in. For now here are a few picts of what it looks like at this point. Take in mind this was a wrecked car to start with, So most of the front end is new.

That's the $hit! You're in good company now - lots of other swap owners here. Have fun with her and let us know how that AWD works out.

Are you going to put the power steering back, or just have fun in parking lots? wink.gif

Looks like a pretty decent project. I am definitely interested in how you did the rear subframe and driveshaft...

I'd suggest that you get a real Spearco core instead of the crappy XS Power one. I've seen both in person and you will get much better performance out of the Spearco. Also, the water flow through the XS Power core is horrible, and you will have trouble filling it all the way with water (there is no way to bleed air out of it). I would also suggest going back to the stock exhaust manifold. Port it if you want more flow.... Or at the very least, make sure you put plenty of heat protection around the manifold you have in there now - you will be melting that coupling and cracking the manifold if you aren't careful.

Perhaps that's the heat exchanger for the W2A?
Just a guess cause IDK.

very observant! i was at work when i read this the first time. if you look closely at the end of the front cooler its a normal XS power looking intercooler with a water line plumbed into it (making a VERY efficient w2a) assuming his core is just as efficient.

i noticed the no clamps over the couplers too itchy. all that shinny motor i hope your planning on cleaning the bay up some?? smile.gif
