Has anyone with 3S-GTE conversion and an ST205 cluster tried to swap the GT-Four's speedometer/odometer with a US speedometer?

More or less i have done something like this..
I have a 94 USDM GT with a 2nd gen 3sgte, but for the speedometer i have an ST205 cluster with a TRD 300mk speedometer. In all theory it should work fine. its just four screws and the speedo is swapped out. http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...ass7&st=240 Check out halfway down that page, talks about it a bit and shows some pics |

you mean something like this???
![]() btw i found that some st205 clusters where actually wired a bit differently depending on edm and jdm. The easiest way to do the rewire was to sit the usdm and jdm/edm custsters side by side and trace back all the inputs and grounds. Then make a chart that would aid you when you move the pin/wires around on your usdm harness to match whats on the jdm/edm cluster. After all was done the cluster works totally fine. |

Or you could just use the how-to I made:
http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=30411 It has a guide for the JDM, EDM, and Australian versions. -------------------- ![]() Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |

Do you happen to have the list you made for your particular combonation meter? I'd be more than happy to update the guide. -------------------- ![]() Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |

It seems there was a bit of confusion in my question. All of the wiring in my car, short of in the doors and rear lights came out of an ST205. So, swapping the speedo was extremely easy. A direct swap with no need to change any of the wiring.

Ive been wanting to do that with mine for a while now. I always forget that i have a 7k redline. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
