GT4 Versus STI V5 Options

Hey

I was just wondering what people thought would be quicker: The GT4 with 3" exhaust and light weight 16" or a stock imprezza STI version 5 with 18" mags.
I had the GT4 and my mate owned the imprezza, we both sold our cars before we got around to racing them (cars are more of an a to b thing rather than a hobbie for us) but always had planned to.

Has anyone on here raced a GT4 with 3" exhaust against a V5? how did it compare?
im interested to know how they compare with a rolling start and not a launch start. As i want to know as close as i can get to car vs car - ie close to a fair test.


My line of thinking (prob wrong but anyway) is that my GT4 got weighed at the truck station at 1380kgs wet.
so 1380kg car- 56kg driver - 14.6kg cat removed = 1310ks GT4 +/- 20kgs. and i got told the V5 weighs about 1450kgs..

so if you take into account the V5's extra 20kw and its extra weight and that it had 18" mags and its larger drag coefficient they should nearly be equivalent in performance..... so therefore would be a close race if it was a rolling start..................
