Then these would be the codes, and i need a code reader. I know some of the obd1 can use the jumper wire, but my car is different right? Thanks in advance.

Yea ive got a '97, theyre definity OBD II

I tried the jumper wire trick last week, but had no luck kindasad.gif . I think we're stuck using a scan tool.
Im interested to know where i can get the right code reader too.

96+ is OBDII

You can go to any autozone and have them come out to your car and run their scan tool to see the CEL codes for free.

I think it depends on territory. I am 99% sure that 96+ for the UK market are still OBD I.

Only US spec cars [and Canadian/Mexican market by default] have OBD II.
It's a US govt requirement.
