Now when we say Horror film, does that mean a film that scared us? Is scary? Or best HORRible film?
Lemme try this by answering my own questions Honestly no film has really scared me, though I will say a part in Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Yes the newer one and not The Beginning) did make me jump (when that foo was in the factory and went for the chick's legs). A film that is scary? I think the way they promoted White Noise was a little scary. I did hit the trees once and scared myself out of watching The Ring, while letting the menu screen repeat over and over again. Even though I had seen it a bunch of times prior to this experience, I knew I would get freaked out and turned it off. Um..... Favorite Horrible Flim? FEAST! Corny ass movie, but a great horror/comedy. -------------------- 91 MR2 Turbo SW20, 92 MR2 Turbo SW20, 95 Celica GT ST204

QUOTE(GriffGirl @ Feb 25, 2008 - 7:23 PM) QUOTE(DEATH @ Feb 23, 2008 - 6:57 AM) I'm not allowed to say what I was going to say. I'm trying to play nice. I saw Misery [suspense I know] on acid when it came out in HS and my friend was drunk. She broke his legs, my friend puked on the girl he was with and I promptly freaked the fcuk out and sat in my chair in ball, eyes glued to the screen till the lights came on. Favorite horror: Amityville Horror [the old one, the new one, the second one even the cheesy ones that came after - I don't care - that house is the $hit]. Altho I have to say Event Horizon is my favorite too as I see it as a subgenre: Horror/scifi. other examples would be Aliens series and Pitch Black. EH is so freaking good as a movie it's hard to say the book was better [maybe cause the actors were better in my imagination lol] but the flight recorder sequence was sado/erotic goodness. That def makes the book better IMO That had to make me laugh... Amityville was such an excellent movie, during adolescence I think... but I saw it years ago, post adolescent (hesitant to say as an adult though, I make no such claims) and all in all, I have to say that it's funny as hell that these people were living in a house that had the portal to hell in its basement. It's like Hey! Wanna come over and see my FABOO new house! Oh, but don't go in the basement... yeah, the hot water heater's down there, but that's only because it's actually Portal to HELL... Plus, there's the whole Eddie Murphy "Raw" parody of it, talking about that when a house tells you to get the F out, white people always stay anyway. I prefer Richard Pryor's take on the exorcist with a black family -------------------- ![]() ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
