there is an extra nipple on the back of the intake manifold use can use as a good source for a boost gauge.

for the wastegate, one line goes from the turbo, to the wastegate, the other gets capped off.

for the wastegate, one line goes from the turbo, to the wastegate, the other gets capped off.

what he said. smile.gif On my car there actually were two unused nipples on my intake manifold that had caps on them. I used one for the boost gauge and the other for the BOV.

for the wastegate, the nipple pointing towards the turbo goes to the nipple off the side of the turbos compressor housing. the other is supposed to be capped. however, I left it uncapped for a while and hit higher boost levels. I had it uncapped and hit 10-12 PSI, and then I capped it and only hit 7-8 PSI. since I didn't want to buy a manual boost controller just yet, I just uncapped it again for the higher boost pressure tongue.gif
