Anybody here know if Nexen N3000 is a good tire? What about Federals, or any others? We do not have that much choices where I'm at.

Thanks!

Never heard of either of them. If you want good tyres that will offer suitable amounts of grip then stick to the major brands. Goodyear, Pirelli, Toyo, Michelin, Yokohama etc..cheap tyres = no grip

I've heard of Federals... I was always under the impression that they're kinda cheap, I don't know though. I've never had 'em.

I bought one Nexen N2000 205/55R15 about a year ago to replace a blown tire on my stock 15" rims. At the time, my other tires were in good enough shape that I could not justify the expense of replacing all of them. I now wish I had. It has performed well and has little wear despite the 15000+ "spirited" miles I have driven on it. Recently I decided to replace the other three tires, and after doing some research on several sites, I found a bunch of people who loved them and highly recommended them. Unfortunately, now I cannot find three more of them in my area as they have been discontinued. I have no idea how the N3000's will perform, but if the N2000's are any indication they will do quite well.
